There’s Nothing New Under The Son — Not Republican Nor Democrat

bibleThere are none so blind as those who refuse to see.  And as most Christians understand, the lost not only refuse to see, but hate those offering sight. It’s always been so.

Of course, the only ‘One’ offering real sight is God the Holy Spirit.  Unfortunately for the unbeliever in God’s saving grace, the only sight He can offer is belief (one time salvation) in Jesus the Christ. Thus it’s impossible to have an in-depth, fluent conversion with those on the ‘other side of the track’.

It is amusing, in a sense, that these are the same people who profess and boldly boast to understand the Bible and want to school us ‘stupid Christians’.  But I’m also sure it’s been that way for over 2000 years. The Jews had the same problems, only worse, without the indwelling Holy Spirit. But it doesn’t get easier with time.

What is there to say to those who tout such knowledge about which they know nothing? All that can be done is to express a few accurate words, which will by necessity, ‘fall on deaf ears’ and blinded eyes. The next step is to pray for them and hope the Spirit, in God’s time, will reveal God’s saving grace.

I also find this same rebellion in some who are, supposedly, Believers. People who think they’re Christians (I hope they are), yet reject so much of the Word of God. It’s always beyond puzzling. . . . how can anyone find something to say No to in the first chapter of the Bible and continue to think they believe anything within? How does a Christian reject what God says is inerrant?

The Bible, nor Christ Himself, teaches “socialism”. I can understand how the uninformed and ill-taught can come to that conclusion on their on.  We all come to bad conclusion on our own.  That is part of the sin nature we all deal with.

The default setting of the lost, unbeliever, of those who willfully and continually reject the Son of God is — Liberalism. It is the ‘touchy feely’, ‘have government do what I don’t want to do’, ‘dispensation technique’ of the Socialistic, agenda driven. The devote Liberal is wholly ideological and as dependent on his ideology as if it were a religion.  And to them, it is — for it’s taken on faith instead of facts and truth. Liberals love to make vast glowing judgements on those they disagree with, when they clearly have no knowledge of the subject. At the same time, they scold others for being “judgmental”.  This is “spiritual insanity”.

r v dI recently read this self promoting, uninformed statement: ‘Would Jesus be “horrified” at the Republican Party?’  No doubt.  He would be equally “horrified” at the Democrat Party and the Communist Party.  Jesus is always going to be appareled by sin, but maybe saddened is a better word.

He knows who and what we are . . . which is why He came to earth to save those who would hear, see and believe!  And the reason humanity was given the Bible — to understand and gain knowledge, as we’re given the opportunity to live our lives to the fullest: and to spread the Gospel of Salvation is foremost.  In doing so, we, like Him, will be hated and called nefarious names. Nothing has changed.

But God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit would not be “horrified” by the Republican Party. How dare we think so small of our Creator? As if He would be surprised at any particular sin or lost soul.. . .  of what’s happening in the world and the evil that controls and runs it. He isn’t. He knows it all too well.  Those who rejected Him, the Truth, the Word of God, killed Him over 2000 years ago.

God knows full well all that transpires, as He knows our minds, thoughts and deeds. God listens to His chosen, His ‘children’ and our requests. His answers are guided by more than even we, can fully understand. But we know, He’s in control and nothing is out of His preview.

And no, Christians don’t have a “religious hero” but a Savior, who gave us something we could never earn. There is no fear of the future. No hatred for those who hate us or God, because we have what they do not.

Just as there is no “modern Jesus” or ‘modern church’, there is no ‘modern Bible’.  The Word and Jesus the Christ, remain the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  All things which are right and correct and good — never change.  Even the lost don’t really change from decade to decade  or century to century — as they choose to think they’ve found something new.  But what the lost Unbeliever finds isn’t new, but the same ignorant hatred that’s been around since the fall of man. Those are the people who rail at God and curse that which they reject.  They are the spiritual blind. The are the gut of the Liberal ideology.

As the saying goes, “There’s nothing new under the son” . . . and there is nothing new, under the Son.

Outstanding! People are afraid of what they don’t understand and even more afraid of facing those fears. One day ALL knees will bend… :-)

Thank you — very kind words.
Yep, and it’s always those who are clueless who want to spread their ‘knowledge’, when they know nothing. Prayers their eyes will be opened.
Hope that day is sooner, rather than later. :)

You point to the greatest point in history falsification. In Christendom still the majority prefers to listen to human dogma’s, because they do think they could not understand the Holy Scriptures without such dogma’s. But the Bible, the Word of God is very clear and should be taken as it is written and as the words are there to be found.

“There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.” Still today are there many Christians who do not want to accept what God said about the Jewish man in the river Jordan, some 2000 years ago. Most Christians still do not understand the value of those words and of the words spoken and deeds done by that son of man. As you say “the lost not only refuse to see” but we would add “most do not want to see” because they know how they than should comply with the words of that son of man and keep to the words and rules given in the Book of books, provided by the heavenly Father of than man.

Let us come to see who Jesus really is, what he really has done, and how his heavenly Father accepted his blood offering for whitewashing of the sins of all humankind.

Strangely enough you seem to be also bound by the dogmatic teachings of the Trinity and not complying with the words which are written in the Bible?

Which is what the Bible tells us about the ‘great falling away’ in the ‘end times’. People want their ears “tickled” instead of hearing the harsher truth of our sin nature. It was all expected.
There is no “dogma” regarding the Trinity, since that is what the Bible teaches. Doctrine is doctrine, truth is truth. “Let Us make man in Our image”. (Gen 1:26) There are many references.

In the Bible is clearly written that there is only One Divine God versus the many other gods. This Creator told about the Nazarene Jew at his baptism in the river Jordan that he was His only begotten “beloved son”. The Bible also tells about that man, born in the lineage of king David, that he was lower than angels, though god is, was and always shall be the Most High; Further it let us know that Jesus grew up, learning things, though God knows everything, but Jesus did not even know when he himself would come back or when the end times would be; In case he was God he did not tell the truth because God knows everything. Though not telling the truth or being silence about the truth is , by the Word of God, considered lying and therefore also sinning. We learn from Scriptures that God does not tell lies, so when He said Jesus was His son we should accept Jesus to be His son and not God Himself. God tells also He can not be seen by man or they would die, though many saw Jesus and did not fall death, Lazarus even was taken out of the dead. From the Old testament we also learn that God is an eternal Spirit and as such has no beginning and no end, i.e. can not die. Jesus really died. What would also be the use of a God coming to earth and faking His temptation and His death? Jesus was more than once tempted though God cannot be tempted. Jesus after been three days in hell was according to the Scriptures taken out of the dead by his heavenly Father, not from himself, and made higher than the angels to come to sit next to Him (God) as a mediator between God and man. In case Jesus is God how can he mediate between himself, and why did he call to himself in his prayers and in his fear to die even saying ‘God why did you abandon me’? How can a person abandon himself?
Jesus also never claimed to be God himself or that people would pray to him but said only to worship his heavenly Father and taught even a prayer ‘Our Father’.
No where in the Bible is spoken about a tri-une God, so where do you get it from?

The God speaking in the plural form is the plural majestic, like still today any king or queen, CEO of a company, or director of a company or school, and a family head still speaks in the plural, though nobody is going to consider all the members of the country, school or family to be the same as that person speaking.

We also, like Christ in the image of God, having to become one with Christ also are not one and the same person as Christ nor the same person as God. Us taking on the armour of Christ, united with Christ like Christ was united with God will not make us to become God.

Can you give one place where the word Trinity is used in the Bible or where it really says ‘Jesus is the God, the Divine Creator’ or is written that ‘God is Jesus’?

” Jesus did not even know when he himself would come back or when the end times would be; In case he was God he did not tell the truth because God knows everything”.

Wow, I’m sorry to say, there seems to be little I could have a conversation with. Once a person rejects Jesus the Christ as the living Son of God and His deity, they’ve closed off the Holy Spirit. No one can show you the error of your ways except the H.S. I hope you will seek guidance from Him.

Of course the Lord knows, the verse you’d like to reference is clearly speaking of Christ the human, not the divine Spirit of God.

There’s much spiritually discerned info available, but you have to open to hearing, and I fear you’re not. Therefore, there is no room for discussion. You clearly reject Christ’s deity
You can find info at thebereancall.org., for one.

John 8:58-59: “Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” …..” “I Am” – reference to deity.
Colossians 1:16-17: “For by Him (This is speaking of Jesus] all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” ONLY God “creates”.
Mark 2:5-7, 10-11 ONLY God forgives sin

God bless and I hope you find the Truth you seek.
