Satanic Mass at Harvard Isn’t “Denigrating” To A “Religion”

Isn’t a Satanic Mass at Harvard as national a news story as a potential Koran burning in Jacksonville? Just before the 9-11 anniversary in 2010, pastor Terry Jones – who they mocked for having a congregation of 30 even as they treated him as hugely influential – threatened to burn a Koran, drawing a major media uproar, even a TV question to the president.

Catholic bloggers and CNSNews.com reported the story on Thursday and Friday that a Harvard student group is planning a “black Mass” on Monday, a satanist event designed to mock the Catholic church. Other than two mentions on “The Five” on Fox News Channel, the national media is AWOL. Journalists think…hey, Catholics don’t threaten to kill people and riot over it.

Michael Chapman, our colleague at CNSNews, explained : “Historically, a Satanic Black Mass is a ceremony that mimics, in a mocking and disrespectful way, the Catholic Mass, whereby many of the prayers and actions are inverted or done in reverse to symbolize the opposite of holy, the opposite of Christian, and to worship Lucifer.” Incredibly, the Harvard Extension School Cultural Studies Club claimed in a statement that this is merely an educational event and is not intended to denigrate a religion!”  Read more: here

An “educational event” not intended to “denigrate a religion”?  Interesting… what the Liberal mind can concoct to bloviate over its true intentions.  Mocking the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ, is nothing more than … mocking Christianity and the creator God, except when a Liberal says it’s not.  But as long was we show diversity of expression in doing so and thus appease the sickest of society, all is well?

Well, whatever.  Again, it’s 2014 and we’re trapped in an America being lead, from a “leader from behind”, who’s a redistribution socialist, loving ex- Muslim.  Who’d thought that would happen, either?

Harvard, long ago in a universe far, far away, was a school grounded in Christian doctrine.  My, how far it’s sunk over the last hundred years.  Now inviting in satanic rituals in some diversity, unity, can’t we all get along liberal malarkey.

We’re I a student, or the parent paying for this less than grand education, my student and my money would be sent elsewhere.

    Well yes it mocks christianity but at the end of the day its their religion & they have every right to do a lesson on the history of black mass. America isnt a christian country this country has no official religion. How can you say religious freedom when you want to surpress anothers religion? You cant do that- if the school was doing a nativiety scene and people protested against it christians would be in an uproar.

      American was established and founded ON Christians principles and doctrine (as was our las) … please study our founding and it’s people, for accuracy. We have always been held as a “Christian nation”, which offered freedom of religion to all. If you had read, you’d see I didn’t say anything about “suppressing another religion”. I commented that Harvard was, of course, allowing ‘mocking’ of Christians and/ or Catholics by satanist. It would help if you read and got your facts correct.

        Again the black mass even though its mocking christians its still a part of a satanists’ religion. As for the founding of this nation some of the founding fathers were freemasons. This nation was founded by christians on the backs of cruelty slavery,killing of the natives and immigration. The point is this country doesnt inhabit just christians it has pagans,satanist,buddhist,muslims,jews,hindius and more – these religions worship pagan,or multiple gods or allah but i rarely see these religions get their fair representations because christians get offended. The university is holding an reeactment of a black mass and is doing a class on the history of that particular faith. So im sorry if it mocks christianity but they’re satanist the opposite of christianity what do you expect from a religion that worships the enemy of god?

        Also every christmas stores and business are closed to respect the christian holiday which has its roots in paganism. As a non christian if i wanted to go to the store to get somethings i cant because of christmas, that is not fair. America is suppose to have freedim of religion and separtion of church and state meaning one religion can not be held higher than the other and one religion can not influence the government. Yet the debate over gay marriage in the government is based of the christian faith along with abortion. Homosexuality is forbidden in islam yet i dont see muslims influencing the government and there was an report awhile back about a man who want to be sworn into a government position using the vedas of his hindu belief and the christians were in uproar and acting as if they were being force to convert to hinduism.

        my goodness, where did you get educated? I urge you to get some facts inside of ‘founding propaganda’.
        Yes, many of the Christmas symbols, etc. are rooted in the pagans religions, but since it’s a National Holiday, business can and do close. Do your shopping earlier…. that is “fair”.
        You’ve traveled far off topic, plus I don’t have interest in discussions with those who are willfully uninformed and simply want to argue for the sake of argument.

        Honoring satan in any form is vile and disgusting, whether it’s done in a black mass, the catholic church, by the lost or Indians worshiping the moon. That’s just the facts. America is a great nation, founded on Godly principles to establish freedom no other country has ever had. Those who refuse to see that are so pathetically misguided that it must be with intent.
