It’s Our Right To Be Racist; It’s Our Right To Be Bigots; It’s Our Right To Be Fools

offending_liberalsBut the big problem here isn’t hypocrisy. The big problem is that the market is turning on Sterling not over action, but over words. Sterling’s a pig, and that’s been no secret for decades. But what triggered America’s response? Sterling’s thoughts. American society now considers expression of thought to be significantly more important than action…. This is the thought police at work. Feelings matter more than action. Words matter more than harming others. That sets a radically dangerous precedent for freedom of thought and speech, particularly for those whose thought and speech we hate. Freedom of speech and thought matters especially when it is speech and thought with which we disagree. The moment the majority decides to destroy people for engaging in thought it dislikes, thoughtcrime becomes a reality. here

This IS the crux of the matter.  I found all the attention brought to and about Donald Sterling, to be beyond comprehension.  As has been exposed, the man appears to have a lot of racist views and activity; but do we want that to become a Felony punished by death, lifetime imprisonment or lost of livelihood?  Some would undoubted say “yes!”.  Those would be ‘low information’ folks who are persistently seeking to ban, destroy or punish what they personally don’t like…. smoking, ‘fast food’, plastic bags, specific words and phrases… and all Conservative speech and activity.  By no coincidence, we are experiencing that within our Federal government by some of the same people (Democrats) in control of the IRS, NSA and White House.

But before you go banning and punishing words, speech and thought YOU don’t like, you must stop and think:  Will I, could I be the next victim of the Thought Police?  Very likely, in time, yes!

We’re witnessing our nation swing drastically and incorrectly, to the Left by the Nazis, fascist mentality.  That’s the wrong, twisted idea, that government needs to control virtually everything we do, which would include speaking of words and thinking thoughts.

If a word said offends, the person must be punished.  Liberals within government call “hate speech” anything they don’t approve of.  And like the Nazi’s of old, they hate Conservation speaking about the Constitution, following the Immigration laws and all Conservative political speech.

In the instance of Donald Sterling, his offensive words were: ‘Don’t bring your black friends to the games.’ and “It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people.” Not to white wash his comments (no pun intended) but I’ve heard worse than that at Walmart in the produce section.

Before anyone jumps on the ban- punish- criminalize- thought- police bandwagon, we should, we must understand, that a free people have the right to be racist, bigot, jerks and fools.  If not, we don’t have a free society, but one control by fascism: Heil Hitler?

Instead of banning words, speech or thought, I rather increase the conversation.  It’s our right as living, free individuals to make fools of ourselves… and yes, say offensive things, because the opposite is unthinkable.  If we go down that fascist controlled, PC road of speech or engage in any conversation, public or private, we’d need a Government Approve Dictionary Of Thought And Speech.

As I’ve said before, the “n” word isn’t offensive — we’ve just been programed and controlled that only CERTAIN, SPECIAL people are allowed to use it: actors, singers, rappers, actor, blacks and Liberals.  If you don’t fall into that special group, “you’re a racist”. Nonsense.  I don’t need the Elite telling me what words I can or can’t use.  I suggest you don’t either.  But that’s where the Liberals are taking us.

The real problem is the lack of morality in our society.  The lack of thoughtfulness to others.  The lack of respect for God and humanity in general.  Words do hurt… but they’re not bullets and we do recover.  It increases our character to forgive, understand, discuss and move forward without bitterness or seeking revenge against those who offend us.  Government can’t accomplish any of that by laws; it only makes matters worse by suppression and oppression.  Government will never conceded to that fact.  It only desires to double down.

Think long and hard before seeking to suppress and punish that which you don’t approve.  If you don’t, you will wake up one day and find the Thought Police jailing you.

    As an American we should have the right to say whatever we want to say in our home. Your actions after the statements -outside the home another story-Good Luck selling that to America.

      It’s more than a crying shame, that you feel your ‘free speech’ should be so strangled and constrained. You are giving up rights, which our Founders fought and died for and upon which the nation is based. What else will you forfeit? What you’re ‘allowed’ to eat, drive’? Once you give up a “right”, it’s almost impossible to recover.
