But that doesn’t mean people won’t believe such statements about Christmas, including that Jesus never cried as a baby and that his birthday is Dec. 25.
The results come from a poll on which the London Telegraph reported.
The survey found that one in 10 young adults in Britain believes Santa Claus, or Father Christmas as he is often known in the U.K., makes an appearance in the Bible. Significant numbers also think that Mary and Joseph might have “brightened up the stable with a Christmas tree.”

“What we’ve got here… is failure to communicate” to quote the Captain in Cool Hand Luke (good movie, if you have no idea of what I refer). It would seem the majority of the blame would lay on parents and Pastors, but this is serious insanity, folks.
If we had not allowed ourselves to be so propagandized by “political correctness”, we wouldn’t be so steeped in stupidity. But that is the agenda of the Left: demonize God, Christianity, scripture, the singing of Christmas Carols and performing or displaying the Nativity.
This was most likely the reason an exact date was not given of the birth of the Son. It was not designed to be morphed and warped into Santa, gifts and “sugar plums” — but what is, is what is.
I can live with Christmas being December 25 and a day to remember His birth. As I can live with a pretty, lighted tree with family asking, “When are we gonna eat?”. But I refuse to invite Santa into the Nativity scene on the fireplace mantel.
