Charles Barkley: The “N Word” Is For ME But Not For Thee . . . If You’re Not An Approved White Person

I’m going to continue to use the N-word with my black friends, with my white friends,” Barkley this week on TNT.  Barkley also went on to say that even though Barnes should have not tweeted that publicly, the word was not used as a racial slur and Barnes should not have to apologize for using it.
Barkley said white people don’t have the right to criticize the way black people speak to each other and that they don’t have the right to use the N-word unless their black friends have given them a pass.

“White America doesn’t get to dictate how me and Shaq talk to each other. And they’ve been trying to infiltrate themselves saying ‘Well you guys use it, it’s in rap music’ — no, no, no, that’s not the same,” Barkley said.

Barkley said he allows his white friends to use that word with him because it is not used with disrespect, but at the same time if his white friends say that around the wrong black people, they will “hear a clock upside (their) damn head.”   here

Excuse the heck outa me, Mr. B, but who do you think you are?

Let’s make this very clear — it isn’t “white America” forcing any thing on you — it’s your friends and compadres on the Left who make demands.  They are your white Liberal friends who impose their ideas of  ‘political correctness” on the world and who have told us for generations, what they have decided is acceptable.  It’s their busybodiness you’re reeling from, so don’t tag ALL of “white America” with that burden.

And explain how it’s unacceptable for “white America” to dictate to you what words to use — while you can dictate to the rest of us what words are not acceptable?!  You silly, hypocritical, politically correct blathering Liberal!  Does everyone you know have to pass a ‘word’ test so you can approve words they’re “allowed” to use?  Is your middle name, Hitler or Obama?

This is the type of stupidity that drives me nuts!  Once again, Barkley proved the point I’ve been making — that the ‘nigger’ word is NOT offensive. . .  he just wants to have control over who uses it.  You sir, do not have that right.  Either the word is offensive or it is not  . . . . and by your own admission, it isn’t.

I don’t care how you talk to your friends  — nor what color they are, although that does seem important to you.  Maybe some of your personal, racist animosities are showing through, as they have creeped in with Oprah Winfrey.  An animosity for “white” people that you’re a little hesitant to admit?  Most people view their ‘friends’ as friends, not color or skin tone.  Just as most people “allow” their friends to speak as they chose and use their own choice of words.  There is no need to give approval because they don’t speak in demeaning, vulgar manner, in the first place.

Mr. Barkley, you can live your life and language usage any way you choose.  But the rest of “white American”  . . . or brown America, or whatever America, has the same right.  They don’t need nor have any desire for your personal preferences to be forced on them.  They don’t care what you allow or don’t allow — but since you find it so objectionable for Liberals to be hoisting their choice of words and terms on you, you might want to make knew friends and get away from the Politically Correct crowd.  But then, that might mean getting away from yourself.

      Sorry, C.S. but you’re making no sense…. it’s Barkley & Liberals saying who the “rules” are for, not I. Possibly reading the Post will clarify some thought processes for you.
