"The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left." Ecclesiastes 10:2
The government is moving the morning-after pill over the counter but only those 15 and older can buy it — an attempt to find middle ground just days before a court-imposed deadline to lift all age restrictions on the emergency contraceptive.
“This decision is a step in the right direction for increased access to a product that is a safe and effective method of preventing unintended pregnancies,” said Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash. “It’s also a decision that moves us closer to these critical availability decisions being based on science, not politics.” here
Democrats are dependable. They continually live on the street corners of All That’s Wrong and Immorality Is The New Normal. I presume, it must be expensive real estate.
A fifteen year old girl is able to make this monumental decision on her own. A decision to force her body to reject her earlier decision, in the hopes of not facing unwanted circumstance of her actions.
This is little to nothing to do with “science” and everything to do with “politics”. Liberals view this decision as a wonderful step forward, to prevent all those nasty “fetuses” (aka babies, human life) — which unfortunately for them, are a natural byproduct of sexuality activity by married adults.
Most Americans and particularity conservatives, see this as a dark path down the long road of immorality, fear, regret and — sin.
Let’s see how these pills are supposed to work:
They may prevent or delay ovulation.
They may interfere with fertilization of an egg.
They may also possible that this type of emergency birth control prevents implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus by altering its lining. here
By preventing “implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus by altering its lining”, would of course, result in the death of a would be new, human life. This is not an action or decision which should be made by a sexually active child. In America, children have parents who are, by very design, are to make decision for their young children. Not government.
These 15 year old girls (and we all know if a 13 or 14 sexually active girl, would never resort to obtaining a fake ID or having an older child obtain these pills), who by law aren’t allowed to take an aspirin to school, can purchase these pills without any parental knowledge. This is seen as a victory by Liberals, who don’t have much use for parents, when government is available.
What’s wrong with this scenario? The continuation of cultural corruption for one . . . which seems to drive the Democrat Party: Bill Clinton’s immoral escapades. If we remember, this is when Bill Clinton and Democrats told us, sex was not sex. OK, the acceptance of immoral began before the Clinton regime, but Billy- boy certainly escalated, or lowered, it to a new level.
The good news is at least these young girls still won’t be able to take aspirin to school. The bad news is STD’s are continuing to inflect a great deal of harm on our youth. Should we wonder why?
