"The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left." Ecclesiastes 10:2
Brushing aside privacy concerns by parents and civil rights activists, a Texas school district has gone live with a controversial program requiring all students to wear a locator radio chip that will enable officials to track their every move – or face expulsion.
At the beginning of the school year students at John Jay High School and Anson Jones Middle School within the Northside Independent School District were told their old student ID badges were no longer valid. During registration they were required to obtain new badges containing a radio frequency identification tracker chip.
Students refusing the chips were reportedly threatened with suspension, fines, or being involuntary transferred. Unlike chips used by retailers to track inventory which activate when scanned by a reader, these chips contain batteries and actively broadcast a continuous signal.
On October 1, the schools went live with a program to use the chips to track the exact locations of students using the badges. The badges would even be able to tell if a student in a classroom is in his seat or somewhere else in the room. here
(at least one girl (a good student) has been expelled for “refusing” to wear the tracking device)
I wish that the adults and parents of these student, were indigent at a (government) school demanding to track their child. Some are, of course, hopefully still the majority… but I’ve also heard from many weak minded adults who agree that this is a good idea. Government employees tracking our children? Seriously? Where has our independent spirit and love for liberty gone? Where’s our responsibility and love for our own kids?!
No doubt a significant sign of the times.
This country just reelected, and allowed to be reelected, a Socialist Democrat, who has been dividing Americans against Americans and propagating unmitigated lies about his opponent, in his unabashed lust to retain the most powerful office in the world (for the time being). And these sort of voters are probably the same type of folks who have no problem in government tracking kids… for whatever reason.
This country had ‘abortion on demanded’ hoisted on it by an out of control Judiciary, who found a non existence “right to privacy” clause in the Constitution — and whom I doubt will no longer find such clause in a real case of “right to privacy”. This cannot be Constitutional.
Ushering the way in for the anti-Christ? Yes in deed, as was the election of Barack Hussein Obama and his horrendous distaste for Israel and half of the American citizenry — “teabaggers” of course. Those who respect the Constitution and Law of the Land.
It’s now but just a short step, a few years, to implanting a tracking device in all people for “safety”, “security” and “ID theft”. Yes, the glorious socialists world of the anti-Christ is just around the corner. He’ll be ushered in with such grandeur, it’ll make BHO seem like an inconsequential no body.
Bring it on.
