Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer – Saving America From Laundry Detergent One Wash At A Time

At a Sunday press conference calling for stricter rules on concentrated laundry detergent pod packaging that some children have mistaken for candy, New York Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer admitted that even he has felt drawn to down a few detergent pods himself.

Democrat politicians are idiots.  Proud idiots, but non the less.. idiots.  This would be of no interest, except that they live to make new laws so they can make themselves, and their unimportant existence, feel important.  Maybe even relevant.

And as usual, they assume their bases of supporters are idiots as well — a case can well be made to support such assumptions, but most of the American public are not… idiots.

Parents, like all adults, need to be responsible:  teach your children not to eat dog poop.  Teach them not to stick nails in their eyes.  Teach them that fire can and will not only burn their itty fingers, but will burn down daddy’s house . . .  and teach them not to eat the laundry detergent.  This is called – being a responsible parent.

I’m not a nanny state person.  I’m not dependent on government protecting me and mine from ourselves, I actually resent these government fools believing they have to tell me not to eat detergent!  Of course, with people like Democrat Chucky Schumer, who’s made the mistake of eating detergent, my suggestion is: ask Mommy what’s safe.  Hopefully she’ll give you better guidance in the future, than she has in the past.
