“If You’ve Been Successful…” Thank Government

This week, Obama said: “If you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. … I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart . . . “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

Well, not so much, sir.

If  government hadn’t build roads, Americans would have.

If ‘government hadn’t build a bridge, Americans could have.

I’m not saying that those who built roads and bridges weren’t Americans (although that has been and is being done).  What I am saying is that Americans could have and has done these projects without government involvement.  The outcomes were successful, less expensive and shows that citizens can get along and manage quite well without government intervention into their lives and businesses.  But government does nothing without citizens.  It is non existent.  Without Americans tax money, government is broke. . . and broken.  Just food for thought.

In a Romney ad, Jack Gilchrist, owner of Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Company, said

“My father’s hands didn’t build this company? My hands didn’t build this company? My son’s hands aren’t building this company? Did somebody else take out the loan on my father’s house to finance the equipment? Did somebody else make payroll every week or figure out where it’s coming from?  “President Obama, you’re killing us out here. Through hard work and a little bit of luck, we built this business. Why are you demonizing us for it? We are the solution, not the problem.”  here

It’s not that Obama doesn’t “get it”.  He got ample radical information and biased, liberal education.  He learned well from his mentors and ‘educators’ that America is a failed country, with homeless, starving children, due to the greedy rich.  He learned evil ‘big business’ is running over puppies while the stupid masses wander aimless through the streets (that government provided for just such occasions), while waiting on Big Bro government to ‘help’.

That ain’t us.  It never has been. Americans were a new stock of people.  Individuals who didn’t wait, who moved, accomplished, succeeded, failed, tried again and build this nation.

Don’t give up American to the Transformer In Chief.  Take America back to the past where “defeat” was a dirty word and government “help” was something to be embarrassed about.
